You can fly into either Baton Rouge or New Orleans. We think New Orleans is generally less expensive. The wedding site is about 40 minutes from Baton Rouge and about an hour and a half from New Orleans.
We've reserved a hotel block at the Best Western in Plaquemine, Louisiana at a special rate of $89/night. We stopped there when we visited the plantation this December to make sure it is up to snuff for all our guests, and we were very pleased with the quality of the rooms and the helpfulness of the hotel staff.
